They appreciated the simple geometric patterns and symbols, the earthy tones of the High Atlas rugs and the subtle plain beige and brown carpets of the Beni Ouarain tribe as a perfect counterpoint to the clear lines and volumes of their architecture.

 

 

 

 

 

More recently we see a much more diverse approach to interior design being pursued; minimalist design has solicited a response to its austerity, and a new exploration of pattern in both architecture and interior design is taking shape.
